Ken began his media career at CJRN Radio in Niagara Falls while still in college. He then accepted a position at CHCH TV as a copywriter and later became On-Air Promotion Director. After 13 years at CHCH, Ken accepted a position teaching at Mohawk College and retired as Associate Dean of Media and Entertainment after 28 years in academics. Ken is a dedicated blues supporter and for almost 13 years he has hosted radio shows, currently BluesSource Canada on INDI 1015 FM, featuring new releases and interviews of Canadian musicians. He has served as a board member of two different blues societies, is on the Maple Blues Awards Nominating Committee, a former Juno Awards judge, and is now President of The Escarpment Blues Society. He has contributed numerous articles to several different magazines. His hobby is concert photography, promoting and supporting the Canadian blues scene.
